EXCELLENTVerified Piece of Heaven From the moment we checked in ( 2 sets of grandparents, us and our daughter), we were pampered and absolutely in awe of the view and the property. Staff is so thoughtful, caring and intuitive. We wish we had discovered this place earlier and not just the last day in Sri Lanka. Next time we hope to come and stay for a week at least. Thanks to Mr Gamini, Mr Anil, Ms Usha (the chef) and her staff Ms Ransika and Ms Priya. They made our stay so good. Randy and Nico, the two dogs on the property are just amazing. Asha and Prima the chef and housekeeper were wonderful and Ashaās food (especially her curryās) were incredible and the breakfasts were amazing too. This villa exudes old world charm, service and understated comfort which the discerning visitor will appreciate. The staff are friendly and extremely capable. The villa itself has been restored with attention to Dutch-roots and with a nod to subtle, yet current essential holiday additions-WiFi, access to a varied on-site menu, guides to local & accessible services (which can be organised on-site) making this a solid choice.
